Music4Vets Mission 

Music4Vets is a Public Service Unit operating under the County Veterans Service Office (CVSO). Our mission is to rebuild the unit cohesion that many veterans lose when they leave the service.

When you transition to civilian life, losing that sense of mission and the "person to your left and right" is a significant challenge. We use a 10-week curriculum of guitar and lap cajon percussion to give veterans a way to get back in sync. By playing rhythm together, we re-establish the shared responsibility and "no one left behind" mentality that defines military culture.

Operating through the Menominee and Shawano CVSO offices, we provide a structured, low-pressure space for honorably discharged veterans and their families to speak the same language and reconnect. We focus on developing individual skills through tailored instruction, with the long-term goal of bringing our veterans together for collective group sessions and monthly jams.
